At Los Lagos Hotel, Spa & Resort there is ample parking space for cars, vans, and tour buses.
Our reception provides assistance 24 hours a day during high season and from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during low season. We are here to take care of your comfort at all times. The hours of operation are from 6 am to 10 pm. After that time, there is a staff member available to assist you in case of late arrival, from 10 pm to 5 am. We operate on the same schedule year-round.
Green Season: May, Jun, Sep, Oct, Nov from August 16th to December 16th.
High Season: Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Jul, Aug 01 to August 15 / Dec 17-23 Holiday Weeks: Christmas from December 24th to 31st / Easter Week March 24th to 30th, 2024 / Easter Week April 13th to 19th, 2025.
Las Palmas Restaurant is open every day according to the following schedule:
- Menu service: 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Buffet:
Buffet service is subject to availability.
- Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Dinner: 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The volcano is covered during the hours of peak human activity precisely because at those times, the heat from sunlight has already condensed the moisture from the forest into evaporation clouds. However, the volcano is almost always visible at sunrise (between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.), because at that time there is light but the environment has not yet received enough solar heat.
Yes, this occurs at sunrise. A clear cone is also very likely immediately after the opposite conditions, when they occur intensely. For example, after heavy rain, including lightning, the area around the Arenal Volcano clears up. Or after a period of several days of rain, there is a period of several clear days. Another way is to check if the volcano’s silhouette is visible at night, then it’s quite likely that it will be clear the next morning.
There is a day pass option which allows you to pay for the right to use the pools, visit the viewpoint, and the natural trails. There is also the option for meals at our restaurant or at our poolside bar.
