 Featuring Arenal Volcano and surrounding rainforest as main natural scenery, at our horseback riding camp you can enjoy a key nature tour for your Costa Rica vacation, on very well cared horses. After some horseback riding lesson or instruction as needed, the trails are traversed, including a rainforest portion where howler monkeys and birds can be seen. Arenal Volcano vantage point (observatory) is visited to appreciate volcano magnificence and one of the beauty lakes that has originated at its flanks.

 All of our horses are lovely very well cared. Traditionally being an important part of Hotel Los Lagos, they are all properly fed and watered. Also they are alternated properly at work to ensure them enough rest, this way we can offer you a quality horseback riding experience for you as well as for the horses!

We start at the stable and tour on horse through this fantastic horseback riding camp: the hotel's farm, rainforest and some springs; with a path that goes to "Los Juncos" lake and passes on the observatory where, with a clear day, you can appreciate the great image of Arenal Volcano. Then we continue by one mile of primary tropical rainforest to "Los Lirios", giving you the chance while on horse of great nature sights of bird watching and occasional wildlife as well as the lush vegetation, and from where we ride back to the first lake. These Arenal Volcano lakes was originated naturally by its activity in the past and are a perfect sample of how may beautiful and wonderful the nature can be.

At emerald colored "Los Juncos" lake we stay for a while in the Arenal Volcano vantage point located there. You can see volcanic material descending from volcano crater and feel all its power and beauty as part of the complete and charmed scenery formed simultaneously by Arenal Volcano, this lake and the tropical rain forest. Truly very few horseback riding camp attractions in the world features so impressive natural bonus. After this finally return to the stable.
